LOCAL OPTION SALES TAX VOTE MARCH 5, 2019

Early/absentee voting is underway. The Polk County Libertarians have come out in opposition to these ballot measures. For more information, visit our blog.

LEGISLATIVE ALERT
A bill has been introduced in the Iowa House that would require Non-Party Political Organization candidates to file to run at the same time as Political Party candidates file to run for primaries. The current status of the Libertarian Party in Iowa is that of an NPPO.  Visit the LPIA’s Facebook page (facebook.com/lpiowa) for more information on why this is not a good idea and who to contact to express your opposition to HF 335.
