JO JORGENSON for PRESIDENT

Delegates to the Libertarian National Convention, held virtually, have nominated Jo Jorgensen as the party’s presidential candidate.  The state party is working to make sure Jo and her running mate will be on ballots in Iowa come November 3, 2020.  Here is a link to the Libertarian Party’s news item on Jo’s nomination.

Monthly Business Meeting, Tuesday, June 30, 2020, 6-8 p.m., via Zoom. If you would like to attend, please send us an email at polkcountylibertarians@gmail.com. We seek to make our business meetings informational and a place to connect with fellow Libertarians, in addition to conducting necessary party business. We invite you to join us.

Let’s Talk Liberty is an informal gathering and friendly discussion. Our  July 11. 2020, meeting is set for 10:01-11:29 a.m. We will be meeting at the park next to the Urbandale Public Library. There is plenty of space to maintain six-feet distance and to separate into smaller groups. Our topic will be on the COVID-19 responses, including mandatory face masks, economic consequences, and more

Libertarians and those people interested in learning more about the Libertarians are welcome at these meetings and discussions.
